Hello, I would like an opinion about changing components in my PC, I would like to list what I have till now:

I would keep the following from my previous PC:

-Gigabyte GA-XA58A-UD3R rev.1 (Mobo)

-Intel® Core™ i7-930 Processor

-Western digital 1Tb SATA2

I would add these pieces to the new build:

- Corsair 12GB DDR3 Memory 1333Mhz 3x4Gb, CMX 12GX3M3A1333C9

-Nvidia GTX 780

-Cooler Master G650M

-Corsair r500 (case)

-Kingston SSDnow v300, 120Gb, 2.5inches, SATA3

1- Budget is around 1000 Euros (I'm in italy)

2-I need it only for gaming, nothing to fancy or expensive, but enough to play at a decent graphic level if any new game comes out in the next 1-2 years.

3- I have one monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, and will not add anything in the near future.

4-I have mouse, keyboards etc

5-I'm upgrading because with the new games recently I feel as if my graphics card isn't doing all too well (generally low fps ), and I would like to upgrade to have a better case for air flow and cable management.

Can you guys check if these components would work together without problems? I'm not all that with Pc's :( if you have any suggestion about different components to get please let me know!

Thank you! :)

Yeah , i think it'll work pretty good although you only need 8 gigs for ram for gaming  with that CPU (it's way more than enough for the next 2 years or so considering 'gaming' platform & it's not going to increase fps to a reasonable level depends on your CPU's current performance), more isn't practical & you can save couple of bucks for that & get yourself a good CPU cooler.

Details separate people.

For me 8GB of ram is enough, if you plan to do some video editing or running RAM demanding programs then yes i would understand that 12GB of ram

overall its all good

Go for 8gb 1600Mhz RAM instead of 12 gb 1333Mhz Since 1333Mhz is a bit too low in most games now and there is no need to have 12gb RAM in current games, 8gb is the sweetspot.

Other than that the build looks good from my point of view.

He cant use 4x2gb?

That Motherboard supports triple channel Ram so you want 3 sticks ideally.

Ah, now i get it.

Then my advice for him would be to simply get 3x4gb 1600mhz RAM instead of 3x4gb 1333Mhz RAM.

@Kenuzcherno Go for Whatever you like.
