  1. Yeah I wanted 3 sticks because it's ideal for my mobo, and I can't get 1600Mhz because my mobo doesn't support anything between 1333 and 2200... So is this a viable build even though 12Gb of ram is a bit overkill?
  2. Hello, I would like an opinion about changing components in my PC, I would like to list what I have till now: I would keep the following from my previous PC: -Gigabyte GA-XA58A-UD3R rev.1 (Mobo) -Intel® Core™ i7-930 Processor -Western digital 1Tb SATA2 I would add these pieces to the new build: - Corsair 12GB DDR3 Memory 1333Mhz 3x4Gb, CMX 12GX3M3A1333C9 -Nvidia GTX 780 -Cooler Master G650M -Corsair r500 (case) -Kingston SSDnow v300, 120Gb, 2.5inches, SATA3 1- Budget is around 1000 Euros (I'm in italy) 2-I need it only for gaming, nothing to fancy or expensive, but enough to play at a decent graphic level if any new game comes out in the next 1-2 years. 3- I have one monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, and will not add anything in the near future. 4-I have mouse, keyboards etc 5-I'm upgrading because with the new games recently I feel as if my graphics card isn't doing all too well (generally low fps ), and I would like to upgrade to have a better case for air flow and cable management. Can you guys check if these components would work together without problems? I'm not all that with Pc's if you have any suggestion about different components to get please let me know! Thank you!
  3. Thank you very much for the quick response!
  4. Hello, I am pretty new to building my own PC, I wanted to change a few components instead of buying a completely new PC, so without further blabla I present the problem: I would like to know if my motherboard, the GA-X58A-UD3R rev.1, is compatible with the GeForce 780, because it's an old 2010 mobo and I really don't know how to check compatibility, please help. I add the mobo link here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3305#sp and also the GPU: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-780/specifications I realy hope you guys can help me because if not I'm just lost
