Hey Everyone.

Yesterday my Seagate Backup Plus 1tb accidentally got detached from the computer (without using the Safe Remove Hardware function) and then when i

tried to reconnect it it didn't boot up and started requiring a format to be able to be used it again.
This had happened before but it got fixed after removing and reconnecting the hard drive but not this time.
Is there any way to fix this issue without losing any data?

Hey Arash. Can you see the drive in Disk Management? If yes, try assigning it a new drive letter. Here's a link with detailed instructions on how to do that: http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/137/. Click on the corresponding OS and follow the steps. This might fix it for you. If the computer was using the drive at the moment it got disconnected, it might have corrupted a file, which on the other hand might have damaged the whole partition. But let's hope for the best.

Let me know if you have any questions.
