My friend built a computer and it freezes after about 3 hours of use. He sent back his motherboard for repair but it was sent back fine. He sent his CPU for repair and that was sent back fine, too. He plugged in a different PSU and it was still freezing. He ran memtest86 and the results were ok. He tried the computer with the individual RAM stick and it still froze. He reinstalled Windows and it was still freezing. He even unplugged everything except for the PSU, motherboard, ram, CPU, and fans and it was still freezing in BIOS.

what about the hard drive, my son?

edit:  actually crashing in the bios probably rules out the hard drive, maybe motherboard?

maybe try onboard video to see if the GPU is bad

taking out the GPU could also put less stress on the PSU, maybe it's failing under load
