ctrl + alt + delete

go to task manager

Look at the cpu usage that each program is using and stop what you don't want.

also look at your start up programs in the control center and stop what you don't want.

how do I get to the list of start up programs in the control center

The CPU load & the memory load looks okay to me , if there is still a problem you might want to disable or switch to a lighter Antivirus, usually theres a chance of a mild virus that cannot be picked by the specific antivirus try scanning with other AV to see if the system is actually secure & clean, Also do a quick regidtry clean up & defrag on your HDD, post back (quote) after you tried them all & problem still persist, also post your specs, i can't find em in your profile

Details separate people.
