It really depends Tboxy. What are you planning to do and how long fo you see yourself having this card? The GTX 680 is quite a powerful card even as a single card for gaming and the rendering of video. If you plan to have this card for more than 2 years I would give a big yes to it; but that is based on assumptions about what you are going to be doing.

If you are doing a 3+ multi monitor setup at high res, yes. If not save yourself some moolah and get a 670, they can be over clocked to near 680 levels!

If you can afford it and you feel as though you need the performance, go for it. You should also consider the HD 7970. With current drivers its actually faster but it runs hotter and uses more power but it is cheaper.

It can be overclocked over 680 stock so, yeah it is a good deal to take a 670, and even after market ones are close because of factory OC

dude 4 gigs cards from Nvidia are useless if you see some reviews, the only benefit is that if you can get in multi monitor is pathetic and low

http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/43109-evga-geforce-gtx-680-classified-4gb/

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/palit_geforce_gtx_680_4gb_jetstream_review,1.html

and i can't be bothered to look for more reviews, so if you need more proof go read more

Nvidia cards are usually a fully finished product out of the box so if you don't plan on OC-ing the life out of it you will see little boost, in the 1st review you see 7970 toxic, now that is something a different, i have not seen a significant boost in 2x standard memory on nvidia cards but the last toxic was a beast of a card in it's time so it is no wonder that this one is too.

save money and buy a stock asus DCII card or even the oc model (don't waste cash on top you can OC your card to that speed in most cases ) or just buy a asus gtx 670 top now that is the best 670 out there, and this is why it's worth it:

Hope this helps!! XD
