Have you brought it all yet? If not, I see no reason to buy a Titan. It's just a 780 with extra CUDA cores but with a huge markup.

Also - what's with the storage situation?

Yes i ordered everything before the release of the new 700 series.

Its ok, i really wanted/needed the extra cores for rendering. The drives are in raid. i have a second machine i use to backup the raid array in this one.

Should have gotten a 780 and 2011/ haswell. AMD 8350 isn't the best CPU is the world, and if you needed extra cores, the i7 3820 is pretty good.

I am a big fan of AMD processors. I own Intel chipsets too.  The extra cores I wanted are CUDA.

For a psu, I tend to prefer SeaSonic. all black  cables & a good price for power. my X 850 80 plus gold will do crossfire or sli. I recall Linus rating suggesting to buy SeaSonic psu as well.

  • 4 weeks later...

My 1 month old OCZ Vector 256gb drive just died too. I am getting it RMA'd if possible. $270 is too much for a drive to live only 30 days.

posted this in another topic, but i felt it was relevant to my post here as well. I have tried to use this SSD in 3 pcs. not one of them will recognize it in bios/uefi.
