I know every one that uses a 4770k and games DOES NOT use the integrated graphics so why do they include it?And what would be a 4770k cpu equivalent just with no graphics?( xeon im guessing)

Intel xeon 1230 v3(locked,lower frequency)

Just because most don't use it doesn't mean NOONE uses it.

Quick Sync? Not everyone needs a GPU?

If your playing a game at 1080p on a 4770k you would be at 20fps avg and plus why would someone spend sooooo much on a processor so powerful just to use the integrated gpu?

What? That's not the point of Quick Sync. And some content creation or work doesn't need a gpu but benefits from multi-threading.

Well with broadwell it'll be well worth it. but the thing is Intel doesn't include Iris pro with their i7 line unless it's the R series.

Well, you have to remember that the 4770k is not gaming exclusive lol.

I'm really excited for Broadwell because of the integrated graphics and low TDP.  Definitely going to wait to buy a laptop that has a Broadwell processor in it.

I think one of the biggst pieces is budget and booting restrictions. Whe I booted my computer for the first time, it defaulted on my integrated GPU and I had my GPU in the PCI slot I had to download drivers before it worked, so idk what would have happened without the integrated. Although this problem only occurs on a handful of gpu's/cpu's, I personally think it's better safe then sorry, you know :D
