Help for a good monitor!

Hi, I am planning on building a PC (i7 and GTX 780) soon and am planning to also upgrade my monitor. Im looking for at least 1080p, 24" and at a good price. Also, do I need 120-144Hz and 1ms or is it fine without. Thank you!!! My old monitor is an ASUS VE208 (1600 x 900)

before we get on the monitor response time issue again your brain has a 7ms delay, this is according to the olympics ruleset(if you begin to run under that time in a sprint then you are considered a cheater), thats for runners that train their reaction time to be extremely fast, honestly i think if its under 10ms latency you are fine, you will just placebo effect about everything.

 

As for monitors i like the dell ultrasharp series of monitors

 

As i hate TN panels i will not link one, im sorry but they are very bad in quality terms.

I have 3 of these for my gaming system and they are brilliant. - LG 23ea63v -   It is a very good monitor, I am actually planning on getting a few more.
