Please Help! Almost No Links Will Work...

Hi everyone, I recently began having this weird problem where a whole bunch of links aren't working.

I've tried several different browsers, and i have met with the same exact problem.

Not only that, but this problem seems to span multiple websites, including this one!

I've been looking on the internet for some sort of solution, but nothing I've found has worked...

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone! :)

P.S: My operating system is windows 7. Also have been having a problem with popup ads that won't go away no matter what I try. Could these two issues possibly be related?

Also, the effected links are typically portrayed on the websites as some sort of button. For instance: the advanced search option buttons on sites such as amazon or newegg simply won't register me clicking on them. This also seems to have effected most drop-down menu's. which will no longer display upon highlighting them with my mouse cursor.

I've actually used that program before, from the same website if I remember correctly. Unfortunately it didn't seem to fix the problem :(

So far the only thing that has kept the popups at bay is the adblock plus pop-up blocker, but I can only use that to target individual websites.

I'm going to try using adwcleaner again to see if it will work. I'll post my results after I have finished the cleaning process.

If you are still having problems. Try these steps.

Go to ninite.com

Under the security section check the boxes next to Super Anti-Spyware and Malware Bytes-Anti Malware. Both are free to use.

Open Super Anti-spyware and make sure it updates. (it will go down to your taskbar and look like a yellow bug, this is normal) Do a full scan, Super anti-spyware can find a lot of tracking cookies and browser hacks.

After it finishes the scan look at and remove or quarantine any infections, then restart.

Also go to the System Tools section in Super Anti-spyware and look at the repairs section and see if any of those sound like they may fix your issue.

Then run malware bytes anti malware, make sure it updates and run a full scan. Quantine any infections and restart afterwards.

See if your issue is resolved.

If not check out Hitman Pro http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro

You can just run the free scan, this program acts a second opinion scan and will look for any other infections that other scanners may have missed.

98% virus , 97% possibility you can't access any antivirus website .

Solution : Get from another pc with a usb drive an antivirus like Malwarebytes or http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/free.html or just reinstall windows.
