My friend is ready to take a step away from his family's iMac to a more gaming-friendly Windows system, which of course comes with it's own choices. Here's what he wants:

  • An Nvidia graphics card which supports the Nvidia Shield Portable. I tried the 280x but he's hellbent on the Shield (I suppose to replace the need of a laptop.)
  • It needs to be around $1000, he of course can reach a hundred or so dollars each way. USD is the currency.
  • Needs to have a monitor with it, IPS is wanted.
