My z77 mpower exploded some days ago (one of the voltage converter) so i try to contact the retailer where i bought the board... but the retailer closed his store so i ask the MSI support how i can replace my defect board (bought it 5 months ago).

But MSI just say that they are sorry that there premium board broke after some month and they can´t help me because the don´t do direct RMA´s on mainboards and i have to talk to the retailer if i want a new board.

So i write them a new email where i write again that there is no retailer anymore witch i can contact... they write me back that there is no way that they can help me and that it´s probably anyway my fault and that there are outer manufacturers if i´m not happy with there support so i should buy a new motherboard from them O.o

Did anyone have suchlike experiences with the MSI Support or any suggestions what i can do next?

MSI support are a bit dodgy. I remember them selling me a faulty motherboard. I had it RMA'd and a week later they tell me that I had caused previously non-existent scratches and I protested that because I didn't cause them.

It went up to management who replaced it as an act of good will.

Hmm, if it's Z77 it might be out of warranty, if it was a Z97 they might honour it by serial.

I would bin it and buy a board from Gigabyte or ASUS.

I bought the board in march this year... so it should have warranty

msi are useless at rmaing things. i have heard of quite a few z77 mpowers going. mine seems fine at 1.4v and upto 1.62v for the past year.

Update:

Call the MSI support today... they say me i should stop contacting them because they already answered me via mail... the lady was really unfriendly -.-

bought now a ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 and get a 0,1Ghz better overclock then with the mpower... up to this incident i really liked MSI but now i just can advise everyone against buying MSI products!
