SSD to HDD

Go to solution Solved by LiveStyleGaming,

I only have a 120GB SSD so i cant really do that... I want to have everything like steam and origin games on my HDD (except for the games i play alot). and all of the random programs on my HDD so what should i do? is it possible to make 2 program files?

I would also recommend a re-installation. I use a 250gb SSD for my OS and certain programs and I generally only have around 20gb free at all times so I feel your pain.

I personally have Steam installed on my OS SSD, then have Steam create a separate directory on my platter for games I don't play too often or have relatively low loading speeds anyway. Yes, you can make 2 program files directories, I also have a second x86 on my platter, for programs like Origin and other programs I don't need on my SSD :)

Sup guys, I made the derpy mistake off accidently downloading everything on my ssd...(noob alert). So I was wondering what the best way is to move everything like my program files (86x) to my hdd. Should i reinstall everything or just copy and paste? also what should/shouldn't i move (users, program files, program files (86x), perf logs, intel)? BTW i want to keep windows on the ssd (obviously). Some help would be greatly appreciated :D

I wound re install everything to avoid any directory errors just moving the files might cause.

I personally would keep all program files on your SSD. Fast programs are nice :P

when you say "program files" do you mean both 'program files (86x)' and 'program files'? or just 'program files'?

Steam and Origin shouldn't be in your program files then!

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Direct Steam and Origin to download to another drive
