Mouse problems..

Go to solution Solved by MegaDave91,

Yeah my Razer worked just fine and this one is replacing it (it's 6 years old). Not sure what to do... I guess set my trackpad speed first and then maybe work my way around the mosue again, maybe turn the DPI way down or something. It's frustrating...

Set your mouse speed to your preference in windows (outside of gaming), then adjust the cursor speed using the in game setting if it's too slow.

I'm having trouble setting up my corsair M95.

In games and stuff its super twitchy soo i turn down the sensitivity to a normal level, but then in game menu it's sooo slow... I turned down my pointer speed in on windows and now my touch pad is super slow but my mouse is normal...

WTF am i supposed to do? I feel retarded!

Are you trying to optimize your cursor speed for the game or the game's menu?

I actuallly am trying to even them both out. For instance in BF4, I can be in the loadout screen and it will be normal and once I spawn it'll be like 1mm movement equals something like 180 degrees in the field view...

My question was a bit of sarcasm and rhetoric. Just optimize for gameplay; it's strange why your cursor speed is slower in the menu than in game.

Thanks I'm going to see how that works, I felt like when I tried to apply different sensitivities in BF4 it would barely change, I'm using 2000 DPI now for everything.

Thanks it worked!!!

Glad I could help :)

Furthermore, adjust the cursor speed outside of gaming using the Corsair software and leave the windows mouse settings at default.

For my M40, there are only preset dpi settings (why, Corsair?), so if you find there's not enough granularity in the software, you can use windows' mouse settings too.
