Rosewill Challenger Fan Setup Help

Hello all. I have a Rosewill Challenger case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153) and I was hoping people can provide me some assistance with the fan setup. Right now it has 3 fans. 1 intake on the front (near the bottom), 1 exhaust on the rear (near the top), and 1 exhaust on the top (near the back). I am getting a Corsair H60 so the rear exhaust will have the radiator attached to it. There are slots for 2 additional fans on the side panel. They are one above the other (bottom slot is near my GPU, top is slot my CPU). I purchased 2 fans and want to put them on the side panel. My question is should I make them both intake, both exhaust, or have 1 of each? If you think one of each is best, which slot should have which orientation? Thanks in advance  :D

Welcome to Linus Tech Tips!

Don't put both on the side panel unless you use the stock CPU cooler.

Put one on the side panel in the bottom slot by your GPU. If you have a reference GPU put it as intake, if non-reference then use as exhaust

Add the other fan to the top or front. Make the top(s) intake

Thanks for the fast response. The only 2 slots I have left are on the side panel. This is my GPU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127663)

Theres VERY little room behind the motherboard tray, and no pass through for the 8-pin power. Getting that side panel back on takes effort lol

Always sidepanel intake. I don't know why anyone would have it exhaust just because of GPU. Only when you are using stock CPU cooler since it exhausts towards side panel. Trust me, your GPU needs lot more intake than one 120mm in front.
