I will be buying a headset soon and I am currently stuck between:

Corsair Vengeance 2100

Corsair Vengeance 1500v2

Kingston HyperX Cloud

I do not care for amazing audio quality, all of these will be better than the pair of headphones I have now anyway. I am concerned about microphone quality slightly for  skype, teamspeak, hangouts, and game chat. I have also heard that the 2100s often break within a couple of months. My biggest concern is comfort as my current headphones are on-ear and my ears start to hurt after about 2 hours or so of constant use.

The Clouds has better build quality and sound quality. the Mic seems to be better than the Clouds. the isolation is better on the Cloud's but possibly not as comfortable as the Corsair's due to the fact that they use Microfiber ear pads rather than Synthetic Leather which can cause sweat, though they're very soft. I've got a review on the clouds if you're interested.

From the pictures on Newegg, it looks like the cloud comes with a set of Microfiber and a set of the leather stuff. And yeah, send a link to that review, all help is appreciated :)

EDIT:Oh, it's in you sig

Do you have a tight budget?

If not, you might want to have a look at Sennheiser's headsets.

Its Sennheiser quality headphone attached with a mic.

It's just a headset, I prefer the "price to performance tipping point" area. $120 is probably what I would be willing to pay for, max.

Based on BoltActionWaffle's review, the clouds seem like a very good option, but to be sure I need to compare the corsairs and the clouds.

It's comes with Velour pads, but they feel of low quality as I stated in the review I believe. They possibly more comfortable for people who tend to sweat easily.

Yeah, I would have to just test each to figure that out.

It seems there are some problems with the mic on the corsairs and the drivers as well, but the mic does sound better when it actually works, so I'm stuck between the two sets. I would just like some confirmation of the corsair problems before dismissing them.

You're not going to be listening to yourself or recording, so the Cloud easily has enough mic quality.
