Does anyone here play MTG?

JDS

I am curious to see how many (if anyone at all) plays Magic the Gathering.  It could be the card game, or the online games. I just want to get a feel for how popular the game is on this forum.

This cop enjoys the card game.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

I don't play it too much anymore but for quite awhile I'd have weekly games for a few hours with friends.

The game was super popular at my high school.  Typically, it was seen that only "those kids" play MTG, but it was popular with all groups/cliques.

Here it was I've never heard of it, we showed them a few games and they either get totally confused or very interested, sometimes both.

  • 3 weeks later...

I first started playing MTG in 1995 and played it for about 7-8 years. I then quit for about ten years but started playing again about two years ago. I'm just sorry that I sold my original collection. I did get over 2000€ for it, but nowadays it'd be much more valuable.
