Hey Guys...

As I am building a new rig, I want to buy the Gigabyte GTX 780 Ghz.

Does it make sense to wait for the release of Nvidias new 900 series (price?) and will the prices of 780s drop a little bit?

My budget is around 450€ max. So is the 780 Ghz a good choice for competiive gaming and video editing?

Thanks in advance

Absolutely wait. Even if you don't want the new cards it will likely drive prices down.

Hello :)

the 780 is a solid choice for gaming and video editing... If you can wait you can probably get more for your money with the 900 series. but if you can't a 780 will do you just fine.
