Intel i7 5820K OC

Sol i was doing some video editing and i got a crash not a blue screen but the whole pc just crashed so i though ok im going to make sure everything is still stable. 

 

Ran Aida 64 

cpu stress fpu stress cache stress memory stress gpu stress 

no issues after 2 hours 

 

so hey maybe it is ok but i also ran occt and not 10 seconds i blue screened so im not quite sure what the issue is

 

details below on oc settings 

 

5820k 3.3 stock oc'd to 4.0 

 

x40 multi on 100 base clock 

 

memory at 2133 kit rated for 2800 but the cpu strap got me a little confused when running it at that so i left it for now until someone covers it.

 

Core voltage is at 1.139 stock was 1.024 

cache settings left on what they were 

 

so after aida no issues but occt instant  bluescreen is it just an issue with occt or is there a more serious underlying issue?

Perhaps not caused by the CPU, run memtest?

If I knew how to configure X99 memory yet I'd just tell you how to sort the memory but I don't.
