Windows 8.1 key

Hi there people i just made a mistake and bought a key from g2a.com for windows 8.1 pro now i dont have a dodgy copy of windows or anything i jus ran out of keys when doing a fresh install and i dont have the pro edition of windows and they key cant be used. Is there any way i can get around this ?

if you don't have the pro edition then just download the pro iso (it's not illegal) and use the key.

edit, i'm guessing you don't have a way of getting the iso do you as your pc has just been wiped?

Well he is posting this from the forum... I mean he didn't send a pigeon with his post with direction to to at LTT, for a mod to add manually. Right? Right?

Now watch MRSMIFFY looking at me with a blank face with his pigeons.

oh right i thought about that but dont really want to reinstall windows again and yh my pc is fine it just hasnt been activated for ages and keep getting reminders of it pop up during games and so on

do you have a lower version than pro installed? if so maybe you can just do it as an upgrade?

i bought window 8 oem version ugraded it to 8.1 and just bought a key for 8/8.1 pro and indeed i am using pigeons so much more reliable aha
