Tablet for business

Basically i want to buy a tablet of some sort for my Father whose birthday is coming very soon.

 

I have no idea what to buy for him, i think about a Nexus 7, because i know that, has a great price point and features, However I am thinking about Windows 8 tablets? you know the ones that have fancy keyboards and stuff, is it any good? Maybe a normal one should do the trick... and the max budget is around 400 euros, Thank you for all answers and if you have any questions about details, feel free to send it to me :)
