Problems when i restart my computer

I build my computer few days ago and everything is running great, but whenever i press the restart button on the case or on the windows my screen goes black and starts saying no signal and my mouse and keyboard get disconnected too until i turn off and on my computer at the back of the case.

 

My build is:
i5 4690k

MSI GTX 770 4gb

MSI g45 Gaming motherboard

adata 256gb SSD

corsair 650w power suply

corsair vengeance 8gb ram 1866mhz

When you say "restart button" do you mean the "reset button"?

Otherwise, did you do a clean install of Windows? Correct drivers?

Yes i ment the reset button, and yes i did a clean install of windows. Could there be a problem with my motherboard?

Hmm everything should work a few seconds after you press the reset button, if not there might be an issue with you motherboard I guess...

Why does a restart button matter? I can't even recall the last time I used mine.

when resetting your computer there will be a point when everything gets turned off. the entire computer gets turned off exept for your bios which turns it back on. at that point your screens will turn off/go into power save mode. its perfectly normal. now if the pc doesnt restart then you have issues. from what i read in your explanation the keyboard/mouse/monitors turning off is perfectly normal. they should resume functionality after a few seconds when the pc starts booting up again.

Well i just restarted my computer and waited for 5 minutes. The computer was runing but the keyboard and mouse was off and the screen said no signal..

Probably motherboard issue then

Check to see if the reset button on the right connectors by this I mean if you placed the "-" and "+" on the right pins. If you have then you might have to consider doing an RMA if that issue bothers you.

I checked the connectors and they were fine. It does not really bother me, I mean i can do everything without the restart by just shuting down my pc and turning it on again. But it made me feel bad that meybe i did something wrong that all. Thank you everyone for the help!
