Recomendations for video editing and cad/ gaming

I was wondering if this build would be adequate for Adobe After Effects and Premiere and Maya and 3ds Max along with BF4 and other games.

That's more than enough power for those applications. Might wanna get a lower wattage PSU though. Also the 600T is a bit dated you might want a bit newer case like the 760T or phanteks enthoo pro

Life.exe is missing

for video editing and cad plus gaming. bumping up to a 780 should give you a 28% improvement. if you can wait 2 weeks you can probably throw in a 980.

but I basically bumped down your power supply up to a better gpu.

Oops picked the wrong psu on the list I think I picked the one below it oops would a 1000 watt or 800 watt be ok for dual 780s just wondering since I don't have a clue on how much power they will use

yeah it should be okay as long as you don't extremely overclock.

That PSU is overkill (750W is fine). Maybe consider Sapphire R9 290 (Your choice).

nah for video and stuff nvidia is supposed to be better and I am a little bit of a nvidia fan boy.

I liked the look of the 600t and by the time i can afford it the 780t will be out and I will probably get that instead

ok cool I probably will overclock enough but it has to be rock solid because it sucks to have your PC crash in the middle of renders and often times I will work all day the set it to render when I am sleeping and if it crashes I lose like 8 hours of render time.

lower the mobo cost because you pay more for the brand than the actual components and you can easy go sli for that

Cool although I am not sure if Adobe supports sli if not then i might just go with 780 and save a little money but thanks for pointing that out. But if it doesnt there is also the bonus of the 4gb card though but i think i can get a 4gb 780. Will have to check though

Adobe does not support SLI but it will use multiple gpu for some work - http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2013/05/improved-gpu-support-in-adobe-premiere-pro-cc.html.

To take advantage of X99's quad channel memory feature get a 4x4GB memory kit instead of 2x8GB.

PSU is far too big even if two more gpu were to be added. I would suggest something like the EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR which will comfortably handle a second gpu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
