Get a S340 when it comes out?  save 10 dollars if you want.

Hey guys so a friend of mine really wants to get into PC gaming, however not wanting to spend the $800-$1000 for a good price/ performance PC (college student gotta save that moneys) she would like an entry level build. She doesn't know anything about building PC's or how they work and wants me to help/ show her how. Anyway, The budget for this build is around $500 (if you can do better for less be my guest) and there aren't really any specifics. Just to play games and that's pretty much it.

The currency is USD and this is what I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rgmqNG (Totally not hitting the budget but I'm bad at these budget builds. Mostly know about the high end hardware.)

It doesn't HAVE to be Intel and Nvidia, she has no bias and I really don't either I'm just more comfortable with Nvidia's software and intel's CPU's

So yeah any help is appreciated!

Side notes:

- Needs to include an OS (No I will not buy it on G2A)

- Peripherals will just be a cheap keyboard from Wal-Mart for now and my Logitec G100s Mouse

- No monitor needed

-snip-

Also a good one :D What's the difference between the CX and Builder series PSU's in Corsairs lineup? Also The case is more of a personal choice due to the fact that it's much easier to work in than cheaper cases and I prefer to have a much nicer working environment.

the psu are in the lower tier of Corsair's psu's lineup. I don't think there's a separate CX and a Builder series PSU, i think it's called Builder Series CXxxx
