hello forummies,

so i have been overclocking my R9 280x a bit and just wanted some advice or opinions about my overclock.

I clocked my card to:

Core clock: 1200 MHz

Memory Clock: 1620 MHz

( The specific details are attached to the post as a img.)

this overclock runs stable at 100% load at 78 C

Is this a acceptable temp?

thanks in advance for any advice.

looks good. i tend to keep my cards at under 80C. also, you can adjust your fan curve to achieve some extra temp room, and try to go a little further

at the temp of 78 C my fan is running at 100% speed.

ah, then you are alright. if you want a little less noise, dial down the core OC a little

One way to drop temps is to replace the paste between the heatsink and die. I personally was able to drop up to 10C going from noctua paste to CLU at stock (1.119V 1050core),
