font bolded in chrome

i didn't adjust any font settings but suddenly stuff in my browser shows up as bolded.

for example, previously the topic titles weren't in bold

i tried restarting chrome, reinstalling, to no avail.

Check your settings on Chrome for fonts?

it changes the size of the fonts in the whole browser, nothing about bolding.

most of the stuff is normal, just that some ends up being in bold.

Hmm, might be something with Windows. Maybe. Try clearing your cache?

cleared and still the same :/
