Recording old games

Sup Guys,

 

I've been trying to record a very old game but no succes so far!

 

I wanted to record Medal of Honor Allied Assault (gotta love that game) but after trying, Mirillis Action, Fraps, Dxtory and Shadowplay I've ran out of ideas. The weird part is that other people seem to have succeeded with FRAPS but when I try it will only record the bottom half of the screen.

 

When trying FRAPS in other games it works fine. It has probably to do with the fact it's an very old game but people have managed to record it. Anyone a clue? Somewhere a very old version of Fraps that might work? Something?

Use Shadowplay desktop capture than open the game after you start the recording.

With OBS it has to be desktop capture also since OBS doesn't recognize older games.

 

I'd suggest MSI Afterburner.
