[Advice] Upgrading my rig

Hi guys,

 

I'm new around here, and I came seeking help, my PC is at the moment equipped with a  AMD Phenom™ II X4 965 Black Edition (125W), on a motherboard not worth mentioning, 8Go of RAM (PC19200 CAS 11) and a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Vapor X - GHz Edition OC - 1 Go.

 

I would like to upgrade my aging rig, but I don't what to upgrade first, and to avoid bottlenecking I'm asking for your help.

 

My first guess would have been the GPU, given the small amount memory it has, but on the other hand my motherboard is a sh!tty-first-price one, so might it be that my motherboard is impeding my system to work fine ? But is it worth to upgrade my motherboard knowing that my CPU will have to change(I want to switch to intel) ! (It's more or less my train of thoughts)

 

So what do I do ?

Probably a GPU and perhaps a PSU if your current PSU is under 600w.

Fore gaming gpu maybe psu but what is your bugdet and i waod suggest a newer amd platform if you can get it so you dont bottleneck your gpu

I already have a 850W PSU, I bought it to last when I first started my PC ! And my budget is €"not-too-much"  ...
