Starting my new build tomorrow, and I have a dilema. I'll only be cooling two 780ti's and my cpu (5960X). I will be using two 480mm rads, and one 240mm rad. Will one D5 pump be enough for this, or will it require two? I have two pumps and two res's, but in order to add the second res and pump, I'll have to do more modding than I really wanted to.

If you don't want to do the modding make one big loop. One D5 is enough but if you already have a second D5, you might as well use both with dual D5 pump top from EK or Bitspower.

If you are not doing any custom GPU BIOS and no extremely high CPU voltages and all you have is just a normal CPU and GPU OC then one pump will do the trick but if it were me and i had two D5 pumps and reservoirs at my disposal, it would be used just because i have it. :D

JayzTwoCents uses two, but you might be able to get by on one if you turn up the speed.

He used two because he is running a custom GPU BIOS on his 780s and he knows that GPU blocks can be restrictive, as was shown in his Skunkworks build.

Thanks guys! The CPU and Mobo will be here today. Depending on how big the Mobo is will determine if I can do a simple mod (two holes drilled) for the second res. my intention now is to go with two loops. My 780ti's are the dual classified edition, which have a second higher OC bios, and my CPU is a 5960X, which is going to crank out the heat, so I assume I'm going to need all of the thermal head room I can get.
