Hey guys today I wanted to turn on my pc but it freezes on the booting menu (the first image that appears right after launching with the motherboards manufacturer logo and where you can acces the bios menu) I thought that it just froze so i turned it off and on several times but did not work. So then i reseted my bios by removing the cmos battery from the mother board and connecting the cmos pins together (I think everybody knows what im trying to say here) And right after turning my computer back on the menu appears if I want to use deafult setting for the bios and etc. But it apeears that it's frozen again and even though i tried pressing f2 on my keyboard to continue it did not work. I had this computer for over a year(no problems whats so ever ), I built it my self and here are the specs guys :

Graphics Card: Asus Gtx 660

Motherboard : Asrock z77 extreme 3

Processor : Intel i5 3570k

Power supply: NZXT 650w 80 Bronze plus (Hale 82)

Ram: Corsair LP Vengeance 16gb (2x8gb)

Can you get into the BIOS? If you can't try again with only 1 RAM module installed. Did you notice anything strange before this issue, or did you do something that might have caused the issue?

I just tried it its still stuck on the booting menu with the AsRock logo. Can it be the CMOS battery ?

Possibly, take it out and test it or replace it if you have a new known-good one.

Edit: does your keyboard respond when the PC is on (try turning on and off numlock)? Also what keys are you pressing to get into the BIOS?

Yeah the keyboard lights are on (when pressing Capslock and numlock the light goes on ) It says to press F2.

Have you tried other keys (F8, DEL and F12 come to mind, but I don't know what they do on your specific MB). If you have the motherboard manual you should look up all of the startup keys in it to see if there is any menu you can get to.

Even if I try any other keys it wont help because it freezes on the boot menu and it wont go any further.

Have you done anything with your PC recently, such as a BIOS update or new hardware installation? Have you reseated the CPU? This sounds strange but the CPU may not be inserted properly.

Cannot be the cpu I was playing Leuage perfectly yesterday and didnt touch the pcu for like 4 months . No I havent updated it at all and I cant do it now because it wont go past the booting screen :/.

I don't know what this issue is. If you have any other components you can put in this machine then I would suggest you try, and reseating the CPU may help, but other than that I don't think I can help and further.

Best of luck.
