Kdenlive's pretty good, and it's free... but it's only available on Linux, FeeBSD, and OS X.

I've also heard good things about Adobe Premiere Pro, never used it myself though.

I personally use Sony Vegas Pro, but that's pretty expensive.

AVS Suite is around $50 but I'd advice against it. The quality is really poor and their customer service refused to refund me even when it says on website that if I'm not happy in their software within year of purchase I could get refund.
