Samsung SSD

Pretty set on buying a Samsung 840 series 120 GB SSD, since i'll only be installing Windows 8, and SOME apps like browsers, and like 1 or 2 games. Which Samsung SSD should i buy? Pro or non Pro? the Pro is like $40 more and i'm not sure if it's worth it. I've even heard that the 830 series isn't all that much of a difference. Help me choose? Sorry if this has already been posted.

Non pro. Get the 840. The 830 isn't really cheaper.

On the 120 - 128 GB category go for the 840. The 128GB Pro doesn't get the write performance of the 256 and 512 GB versions

If you're not worried about the slightly better performance or the Pro, go for the non-pro. It still performs really well and you won't notice the small difference in day to day use, game loading times and maybe file transfer speeds

Go for the non-pro version. You wont see that much of a difference in real-world applications, and you might as well save that $40.
