Just Wondering if the h80i was worth it or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Storage: Western Digital Red 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive  (£69.74 @ Aria PC)

More importantly, why are you buying a red drive? change it to a seagate barracuda or WD blue (or green if for file storage)

There will not be that much different, I would save up for an h100i

AIO Water vs air cooler is mostly just aesthetics, a decent air cooler will perform as good as a decent water AIO

Definitly go with a different HDD

No, the H80i is not worth it.  I feel that 120/140mm AIOs are a job half done because they cost a lot of money, and don't perform as well as mid-level tower heat sinks. Not to mention, the H80i and H100i have mounting problems.  They work for some, but not for everyone, I cannot recommend a product that doesn't work as it should for everyone.

If you are dead set on water cooling, which you have the budget for, buy a 240 or 280mm AIO.  Good alternatives are: H105, H110, Seidon 240M, Nepton 280L Eisberg 240L, X60, X61, H220, H220X

Also, look into a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case.  Much better case for only 10-20 pounds more.

I bought the H80i on sale about a year ago, and I would make a different choice knowing what I know now.  It works as advertised, keeps my 3570k @4.4 around 60C when gaming, and is relatively quiet now that I have the fan profiles set up right.  If you decide to go with it, avoid using Corsair Link at all costs - it is buggy and glitchy and doesn't even work most of the time. I have a pwm splitter running off my CPU fan header so I can control the H80i fans using my motherboard, which is much more reliable.

With the R4, you have space for a 240 rad in the roof.  If it's too much right off the bat, go with the 212 Evo, and save your pennies for a good expandable AIO like the h220-x, Glacer 240L, or even the Eisberg 240L. If you decide to go with the Enthoo Pro like Faceman suggests, then wait for the h320-x (If that's in the works, I can't recall at the moment) since that case has room for a 360 rad in the roof, or really save up for a custom loop.

Also, Faceman is right about the h80i/h100i having mounting problems.  I had to add plastic washers to the mounting plate to get proper pressure on the CPU, since I have a thinner-than-average (biostar) motherboard.
