Sup bro,need help with my gaming pc build.Budget round $700-$800(with monitor).Games gonna be playing on it,BF4,Titanfall,Planetside 2,Blacklight,Minecraft,CS:GO,Dota 2,LOL and etc.Mostly gaming on it and some light editing,and by light i mean,really light.Planning to have dual monitor in a few months after i get my pc,one for gaming and another one for social media,it makes life so much easier.And thx for taking ur time to help me on this.

P.S. : Max budget,really can't go over it,sry.

I'd suggest dropping to a FX6300 and getting an SSD. The gaming difference between the 8300 and the 6300 is basically none.

$10 over budget, but a much better computer.  Don't get a 280X when a 280 will do the exact same thing, all you have to do is overclock it yourself.

@Faceman based on your post, just so you know a 280 has 1792 streams, not 2048. So it's not like 270 and 270X where one is just overclocked :)

 

but of course you can reach a low clock 280x perf levels with an overclock.

Ahh I didn't know that. Good to know, thank you.  For $180-$200, it is still a fantastic 1080p card.

 

I would still advise against the 280X if it means getting an i5 over an FX.
