ok my rat 7 died the left triger went out (im using an xbox remote for my mouse for now)

 

any gaming mice thet have a sniper button i should get and try out.

(i have an huge hand and play claw griped)

Why didn't you link it...

 

I have a rat seven too, and I'd say look into SteelSeries mice, Corsair, Razer or get another RAT 7. It's really personal preference.

yea i got biger hands than slick they are thiner but taller and the pinki rest aint my thing i drag my pinki for even more speed controll

Mines on the fritz as well :( the cursor floats down or up or sideways when the mouse is literally parked, cleaned the optical as advised by their support but still floats off into space. Sniper button works but useless when the cursor isn't stable, anything else wrong with your RAT 7?

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

I have the rat 7 right now, had it for about 6 months...and considering switching soon. 

 

The software is unbearable, the tracking of the mouse sometimes gets all wonky and the pointer goes all over the screen...or it doesn't move at all. 

The left part with the sniper button and the back/forward buttons snapped off, luckily I had some Gorilla Glue so I patched it up.

Can't stand the palm rest: it only covers the upper half of the mouse end, leading to a very uncomfortable and hard-to-control palm grip. 

I heard that the customer support is terrible. 

 

Soooo yea, I'm thinking about switching to a Logitech g500s. Any thoughts?

EXACTLY! It seems like everyone has the same software issues...especially at the worst times when gaming. Customer Support also sucks xD

Is it me or is the hand on the right (our right) pretty freaking dirty! Maybe that should be Photoshopped out, B-roll or whats his name the intern need to clean that up proto! Or they buy a soft hand brush to clean that out?

the drivers on the cyborg sight are more reliable and i never had a problum with the mouse i loved it 

 

but yea it dose take a little geting used to but i do use a vary light claw grip almost fingertip

I am having the same issue. The cursor just does whatever.

Do they offer returns? I bought mine at a computer store in Sydney and I am quite annoyed with the software as well as the fact that the tracker is really faulty.

Yea, I think its the best add on but might also be the cause of my issues if what that thread states is true, will remove it and try when I get home. The thing is I've tried different surfaces from nothing (wood desk top), piece of paper, magazine (has worked before on other mice), fancy aluminum mouse pad, to cheap-o $1.99 foam mouse pad, all the freaking same.

 

If its true I'm reporting it as a defect, will report back when I determine if its the cause of my cursor shenanigans.

hell if u guys dont want urs mail it to me i love tha mouse and i found cd drivers worked best for me for the 1.5 years i had it it was pirfect untill left click went out

for about a week i had the unresponsive mouse curser i just reinstalled driver cd and it worked

Well re-installed the driver and updated the software and guess what?

 

It still floats off into space :angry:  surface is level or as level as a level will get, optics are clean as can be dang mouse still floats off when I want to click something specific... back to Mad Catz Support for me.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
