G1 vs G2?

I'm about to order a evga 100w gold psu and the newer g1 is 40 bucks cheaper which will allow me to get custom cables 4 it :] but idk if it is as good as the g2 any suggestions

I have a G1 and it quite and from what I have read on review sites a very reliable and efficient. The G2 is all these things expect it does them better. Get the G2 unless you need/want to put the money somewhere else. Also I sleeved it myself to save some money and its really not that hard or expensive. http://imgur.com/a/Iie3w

The G2 is based on Super Flower's Leadex Gold platform, and I think the P2 is the Leadex Platinum. Both are very good power supplies.

 

I'd say go with the G2, save some money. I also wouldn't buy the sleeved cable kit, but that's because I just prefer black wires.

I wanted individualy sleeved but I guess i can do that myself since im watercooling anyway.  the g2 is the same price as the p2 so what should i go with
