Hello, I'm new to the LinusTechTips community so excuse me if I am posting in the wrong forum. I'm building a new pc in about a month or so and I have chosen the part list but I would just like to make sure that I'm getting the best parts for my budget, if anyone could check it and give me feedback that would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link to the PCPartPicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WHJhvK

Also I'm not sure if this is the best motherboard I should get so please tell me if there is a better ATX motherboard I can get within it's price range

Thank you in advance

Is there a reason you picked Nvidia? Do you need Gamestream/G-sync/shadow play?

If not, then check out the Sapphire R9 280/x or R9 290.

Also, throw in a 120 (or ideally 250gb) SSD if you can afford it (Crucial MX100 or Samsung 840 Evo).

You'll also need to pick up an after market cooler if you intend to overclock, and if you don't intend to overclock then you should get a 4670 (non-k)

Whats your budget?

My budget is $900, I will pick up an ssd later on in the future and I will also get an after market cpu cooler later on when I would want to overclock. I also would like to keep Nvidia for PhysX.

Looks great! I'd throw in a Samsung 840 evo 250GB SSD, but if your budget doesn't allow for it then what you have is fine.

Also consider throwing in a Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler so you can overclock more.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Physx really isn't a worthy reason to go Nvidia over AMD. Very few games actually support it, and its only a marginal benefit in those games.
