Memory Compatibility

I have an asus z97 ws motherboard and am getting error code 35 (cpu post memory instillation). I have been told that the memory I am using is compatible but, would someone be able to check for me? I am currently using Corsair CMD16GX3M2A2400C10.

@maximum, this kit of memory is listed as being compatible with z77 and x79 motherboards, z97 is not listed on Corsair's site. This is the memory QVL on ASUS's site and if carefully read you will see that different memory kits works or doesn't work on different motherboard BIOS versions.

 

I would now conclude that this kit is incompatible with your motherboard unless you use the 0602 BIOS version.

So if I flash the bios the memory error should be solved, right?
