Hey, I am building a new system and was wondering if I will have enough clearance between my RAD/fans and my mother board, I will be buying the Corsair h100i, a Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1 and the case will be a fractal design define r4 and I will only be planning to use two fans on the RAD.

Cheers.

It should be fine. The R4 has offset mounting holes for this very scenario.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

@BigDogGamer

this is generally what most have to do to install a 240 AIO. insteads of using the

conventional fan mounts, you'll have to use the "make-shift" holes of the mesh

for mounting the radiator:

this would be the extreme to modifying a R4 roof to accommodate a 240 radiator:
