Samson SR850 vs Audio Technica AD700

Okay I bought some Samson SR850's today but can't pick them up until next week. I was wondering if anyone on LTT forums has a pair and can confirm they're better than AD700's because I've read around the internet and everyone says SR850's are better than AD700's because of the versatility not only being good for gaming but also for, music, & movies, where as from what I've read AD700's are really only good for gaming.
