Updating My PC

Hi so i built this PC about a year and a bit ago now, its a low end gaming PC and i want to update it for when the new games come out in 2015 like The Division, Dying Light etc. I currently have :

CPU - Intel Pentium G860 @ 3.00GHz

Video Card - AMD Rdeon 7700 Series

RAM - 1x 8gb Samsung DDR3 RAM

HDD - 1tb Seagate Barracuda SATA

PSU - Evo Labs Cronus 750w Modular 

Motherboard - msi h61m-p31/w8 

I'm not looking to change my power supply and if there's anyway i can build it without wiping my hard drive that would be great but i don't mind.

Lets say i have a budget of around £300 or $500 to switch out some parts to make it run better and faster

Switch out the CPU for an i5 and the GPU for a R9 270x or better and you will be able to run those games on high settings. And sell the Pnetium and the 7700 series card.

I would upgrade the CPU to an i5, and get the best video card you can with the left over money.

So get an i5 cpu with a r9 graphics card ? keep the board and should i get some more ram ?

Pentium g3258 with a r9 290. Sounds a little lopsided but the pentium overclocked does some serious work. You will see way more out of it over a expensive cpu and a midrange gpu.
