Best (Cheap?) FPS Mouse

Go to solution Solved by HannahLewis,

the MAD CATZ R.A.T. 5 is fairly cheap right now. I think its a great value mouse but it has a laser. It is serving me for over a year now and I am still impressed! Maybe not the most important in FPS but I like my thumb scroll to adjust the sound or equipment in game on the fly. You should check it out!

So I hear the

Vengeance® M65 FPS Laser Gaming Mouse

is super amazing, but the laser part threw me a bit, does laser have acceleration? (Some say yes, some say no.) And is there an optical mouse which allows fine tuning to the DPI, 2 buttons on the side (I'm a righty) I looked at the SS Rival but it seems that it wears easily, I was thinking about the Deathadder but I really don't know :(. I use a claw grip, I have small hands and I would like a light as possible feel.

All thoughts and inputs are greatly appreciated!

:)

I think it does. I have the M40 (4000DPI) and it's friggin perfect. And as far as I can tell, there is absolutely no acceleration with it. I went with the M40 since I didn't feel that I needed the extra DPI the M45 (5000DPI) offered, but I may be wrong eventually.

Would it be considered Hustle if I were to sell my shitty Razer Naga Hex in order to buy another, better one? Some might say "No" but the mouse is a Razer product and Razer suck balls for product quality.

Anyway OP, I prefer MMO mice for FPS games because macro keys and use in RTS games. You might wanna look at some of the Logitech MMO mice.

I have the M65 and don't have any acceleration problems. But I have heard some are more sensitive to it than others.

If you want, you could try the M45 instead. It's got an optical sensor.
