putting a ssd into my computer

I thinking about putting a ssd into my computer and keeping my hdd. What would load faster and by how much? What would I notice get a increase in? is a ssd worth it?

Everything that is on the SSD will load much much faster (OS boot times of 7-10 seconds) so it's good for smaller programs, your OS and games you play often where load times are an issue (Battlefield 4, LoL, DotA, The witcher, etc)

Depending on your budget personally I would get a smaller one and put your os on it, but yes it should increase boot time by a ton.

only problem is this is a prebuilt computer and i didn't get a os box with it so i can't really transfer the os to the ssd all i really wanted was to put all the games i play often onto it btw the computer is only 3-4 months old so os wouldn't boot much faster unless i'm wrong

yeah but where would i back them up to i don't have something around with that storage

i have one 160GB SSD and i don`t have any games on it. maybe i will put one or two on it ,but its really unnecessary. 

 

however i have all my programs and windows on it. now thats necessary
