Computer FAILURE

Hey guys so my mom needed a new pc so i started building it today, so i obviously tested it on the motherboard box, the heat sink fat spun but i couldn't get any signal at all.

the parts are as follows

Motherboard MSI A88XI AC, Socket-FM2+

CPU AMD A8-6600K Black Edition

PSU Silver Power SP-S650M 650W PSU

Case Cooler Master Elite 120 Mini-ITX Hvid

SSD Crucial M500 SSD 2.5" 240GB

RAM yperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 8GB White    

Do you guys have any idea why?

sounds like a DOA motherboard, but could also be RAM related. Try testing different RAM sticks if you have any, otherwise I'd suspect the mobo.

So you're thinking my motherboard isn't working?

 

Would it spin the fan then tho???

 

I'm wondering if it's the processor is that possible at all?

Have you connected the 24 pin and 4/6/8 pin power connector ? to the Motherboard 

 

Also try using a VGA cable from MB to Monitor as it may be bugged or something.

I even tried putting my graphics card on it but the fan didn't even spin on my GPU.

no.... using a 650W psu on a apu? you could have used a 300w one........

It's was cheaper to buy a 650W, can you not use that on an APU ?? from my understanding there shouldn't be a problem what so ever.

Do you have a speaker? (for mb, not external)

Not connected, literally took brand new pc parts that came today installed it onto of the motherboard box to test it, and it didn't work, only thing connected is a monitor

Then just rma the board, if there's no beep code then the most probable thing is a DoA

Yeah i figured already wrote the store a few hours ago, thanks tho. I was like hmm imma do a easy build for my first time motherboard be like : haha nope imma kill myself your move.
