Hello , Thanks for your support .

I recently checked my memory usage while browsing the web , I found out that alot of it was used up so I checked

TaskManager and this is what I saw , Almost 90 % of My Ram was used up by Nothing . Can somebody help please ?

Why does this happen ? And how can I fix it ? There is currently 8 Gb of ram installed in my Pc. , My computer detects that I have the same amount Installed .

Thank you for your time .

I would guess that 87% is an "In use" value + "Standby". I would pull up resource monitor and check the values there against those. Should look pretty similar to this:

Can you expand that any more? it looks like you have a HUGE list of processes, can only see ~1/4 of them.

I DId ,

Organize by Commit instead of private (it looks like you have them organized by private). and maximize the screen so we can see more processes.

...sweet christ

I would download and run Malwarebytes just to make sure all those svchost duplicates aren't spawning from some particularly nasty hidden services. After that go into your services within the task manager and start combing through them to isolate services you do need and turning off the one's you don't.

After that you'll need to change the "Startup type" services options for the one's you do not need on boot. Change them from "Automatic" to "Manual", this way they will only start a service when you ask it to and not automatically start them up on boot.

Are you noticing a performance hit? Are you running any sort of ram disk? In chrome go to "chrome://memory" and see what that says. Try closing Chrome and see what it reports.
