Gpu percentage not 100

I was playing skyrim and i put the settings to the maximum settings at 1080p. Im getting to down to 50 fps often but my gpu percentage is 70 and my cpu is 70-90. How do i get it to use more of my gpu for more fps?

Im going to get an i7 4790k in 2 months or so but the pentium's usage gets to %90 max when i play.

Your gpu is bottlenecked by the pentium. 4690k is a good chip for gaming but may not be the best choice depending on you gpu.

It's a lack of optimization not being able to reach %100 on the CPU, but Skyrim sometimes can get pretty tough on the CPUs.

It's one of the games where the i5 vs i7 battle makes an exception:

Using mods on the game will fill up the video memory on the GPU a lot too, and of course OCing your GPU will help too.

 

 

My recommendation: Turn down the settings a little bit and stay at 60fps.
