While playing BF4 on my PC which has 2 780's in SLI at 4K 3820x2160 60hz and a Intel 4670K on a Z97 Board. I get from drops to zero every once and a while I'm guessing its my CPU? It will hit 100% very often. Drivers Updated, Windows updates done, act. Thanks for all the help, This is my first post. Posted Image

Tyler Raimo have you checked the core usage during gameplay? it may only be using 2 cores for some reason, post screens of performance monitoring software while benchmarking / gaming, we may be able to decipher your problem that way.

Looks like RAM usage and CPU usage as pretty loaded. Maybe try and overclock your CPU.

I remember seeing 4K benchmarks a while ago with 4x titans and a 4960x and I think Newegg said that the 4960X was actually the bottleneck.

So you're kinda seeing that scenario

My CPU is pretty much a dud for overclocking and will not post unless I put 1.35v past 4.2GHz and it is overpowering my H100i. I'm stable at 4.2 at 1.2V Ram is currently 8gb because a stick decided to die on me...

An i5 can bottleneck high end SLI setups in BF4, sadly. That shouldn't drop you down to 0FPS for a few seconds though. What exactly are the settings you play at? Maybe the 3GB of VRAM on the 780s is filling up (I doubt it) or maybe you have a memory leak issue. This is very strange tbh, have you installed the latest drivers for your GPUs and is SLI enabled/running fine for other games?

Sounds like somebody has a lot of bad luck :/ Sorry to hear that.

As @Nohrellas said, even if you did have a serious bottleneck, it shouldn't cause frame dips of any kind really. Maybe 5 frames here and there but not like... ALL the frames.

Other games seem to be fine, although most of my other games are not as intensive , I'm playing at ultra everything with no AA.

There should not be an issue with 8GB of RAM in general, and 3GB of VRAM should be totally fine if you play without AA. Hmm..... Just to get that out of the way, you're not running 200% resolution scale, are you?

I actually did check that, I am at 100% and it seems if I bumb it down to 50% I get no frame drops.

Yeah, but you're effectively playing at 1080p then..... Hmm, can you monitor your CPU, GPU, RAM and VRAM usage while gaming? I don't think we can do much without additional information.

I can do this after I get off work after school, What could I use for GPU usage? MSI afterburner doesn't play well with battlefield 4. I do have a second monitor so it doesn't have to be an overlay.

I've always used MSI afterburner tbh. Just don't use the overlay, open the program and just keep it on the second screen, you can also export to a log IIRC.
