What do you mean what drivers do you need? The ones that came with your m/bd. Go to the m/bd's website. Most have a utility that will do the upgrade if needed.

 

As for Thunderbolt, are you buying it on your board? If not, and it's expensive, don't worry about it.

Like does windows update install the updates or no? Like the mobo drivers

what mobo do you have?

 

if your mobo has the ThunderBolt ports

 

you will have to use the drivers from the mobo website

 

 

the drivers from Microsoft may be outdated and only optional

 

only use them only if you cant find the driver for your device

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
