3D Printed Bullets

A Tennessee man demonstrating what kind of damage can be done by the plastic shell, created by 3-D-printing.

There is no way to regulate what gets built in a garage. Much less a 3D printer.

Do you think there should be regulations on what DIY printers should and shouldn't be allowed to create?

"If you are not paying for it, then you ARE NOT the customer. You are the product being sold."

"If you are not learning, then you are forgetting."

So it's basically a sabot that doesn't strip away from the LEAD SHOT creating the actual weight and inertia of the projectile. Also, the shell, powder and primer aren't exactly printable with a home device (as far as I know).

I see this more as interesting than frightening.
