When do you figure we will get pricing and or an announcement for larger DDR4 memory kits? Where are the 4x8, 8x8, 4x16 and 8x16 matched sets?

I'm planning an X99 build for September and looking forward to getting my hands on 64gb for video editing, screen cap and CAD.

My X99 Rig: ASUS X99 Deluxe / Intel Core i7 5960x / 32 Gb DDR4 Corsair Dominatior Platinum / 2x SLI EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SC Edition / Corsair AX1500i PSU / H100i CPU Cooler (P&P 4x Noctua PPCs) / Corsair Obsidian Series 900D

It's going to be EXPENSIVE. If you're building in September, you're going to get the worst of both worlds so to speak. The high price and bad timings/performance (compared to what it will be later on)

I'd expect to see it early September, but they might not even release them until later on.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking to build a new PC this fall, but I haven't decided whether it'll be purely for gaming, for 3D work, or both. As excited as I am about a new DIMM standard, where would you benefit from anything faster than 1.6 or 1.8 GHz RAM?

I'm also very eager to find out how the 5960X will do against the 5930K in all-core performance when compared to this generation's equivalents.
